It is with a grateful heart that I write this letter to express my heartfelt appreciation for your unwavering support and generosity to our church. Your contributions have been instrumental in advancing the Kingdom of God and bringing hope and joy to many people in our community.
As we embark on this new year, I am thrilled to share our theme for the year: “The Year of Walking in Divine Favor,” inspired by Proverbs 3:1-4. This scripture beautifully reminds us, “My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”
This theme underscores our collective mission to spread God’s love and bring hope to those around us. As we commit ourselves to these principles, divine favor will empower us to achieve greater things than we ever imagined.
Additionally, let us reflect on Psalm 5:12, which says, “Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” This verse assures us that as we walk in righteousness, God’s favor will protect and guide us.
Furthermore, Isaiah 58:11 offers us a powerful promise: “The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” This verse promises that God will provide continuous guidance and meet our needs even in the most challenging circumstances. It assures us that, as partners in this ministry, we will be sustained and strengthened, allowing us to flourish and be a constant source of life and hope to others.
Let’s embrace this theme wholeheartedly and work together to make a meaningful impact in our community. As we spread love and hope, we can trust that God’s favor will be with us, guiding our steps and amplifying our efforts. The divine promise of continuous guidance, satisfaction, and strength will empower us to thrive and succeed in our mission.
